550602 Clinical Evaluation of Efficacy and Safety of FS VH S/D 500 S-APR for Hemostasis in Subjects Undergoing Vascular Surgery
Clinical trials are closely monitored research studies of new treatments - investigational drugs or medical devices - administered to human beings. Clinical trials rely on the participation of patients who volunteer to try new or modified treatments. Clinical trials help scientists determine the safety and effectiveness of new therapies. Together, the patient, the patient's physician, and those who administer clinical trials decide whether a patient is eligible to participate in a specific study.
Each clinical trial looks for patients with a specific type of condition or disease. All patients treated in a particular clinical trial, in general, must:
- Have your condition diagnosed and evaluated.
- Have your general health status reviewed by a licensed medical professional.
- Have all of your treatment-related and clinical trial questions answered to your satisfaction.
- Give your informed consent, which means that you understand the possible risks and benefits of participating in a clinical trial.
