Physicians in the Oncology Division, in cooperation with the Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI), participate in a variety of clinical trials and other research in the hopes of improving patient care and treatments and finding the causes and cures of cancer.  Clinical trials are the best way for physicians to learn more about experimental treatments.  Physicians and scientists at Huntsman Cancer Institute are also working with other institutions to improve cancer treatments through clinical trials.  Patients make a difference in cancer care and help advance cancer research by participating in a clinical trial.
