The University of Utah Rheumatology Fellowship Program is dedicated to providing the highest quality training in the subspecialty of Rheumatology. It is accredited by the Graduate Medical Education Committee of the University of Utah and by the Residency Review Committee of the ACGME. One fellow is matched annually.

The Fellowship provides a rich training experience in Rheumatologic Medicine and relevant fields, including:
- Care of in-hospital patients
- Care of patients in the ambulatory setting
- Developing and enhancing skills in literature review and evaluation
- Developing skills in seminar and conference presentations
- Study of issues in clinical reimbursement and practice management
- Fundamentals of research design
