The physician educators in the Division of Cardiology fulfill one of the division's primary missions to teach medical students, residents, fellows, and other health care professionals in cardiovascular medicine. Dr. Sheldon Litwin is Director of the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program, he states, "Today's trainees are the clinicians, researchers and educators of tomorrow. They will care for us as we get older and will discover the cures for future generations. Our trainees benefit from the diversity of our faculty at the University of Utah.
