Post Doctoral The Division of Endocrinology seeks applications from individuals interested in obtaining postdoctoral research experience in the areas of diabetes and metabolism. FacultyThe Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Utah seeks the following individual to join its faculty: CLINICAL ENDOCRINOLOGIST/ DIABETOLOGIST (MD) AT THE LEVEL OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR TO PROFESSOR. This individual will spend 50-60% of his/her time in clinical practice at the University of Utah Endocrinology and Diabetes clinics and 40-50% of his/her time in supervising teaching clinics and other scholarly activities. Two months per year will be spent on the Endocrinology consult service seeing inpatients with endocrine problems. It is expected that the person will attend appropriate medical teaching conferences. This individual will also participate in the training of medicine postgraduates in the Internal Medicine and Endocrinology training programs. It is expected that the individual will, in addition to clinical practice, also be involved in scholarly and community activities including participation in research, attending and presenting work at conferences, and participation in local and national educational events. Requirements include board certification in internal medicine, and board certification/eligibility for licensure in Utah.
